Brentwood is an affluent town in Los Angeles with many young professionals. The city sits between Santa Monica and Westwood. Brentwood has Encino on the north, Bel Air estates on the northeast, Westwood on the east, West Los Angeles on the southeast, Santa Monica on the south, and Pacific Palisades on the west. The city is also divided into the subdistricts of Brentwood Circle, Brentwood Glen, Bundy Canyon, Crestwood Hills, Kenter Canyon, and Mandeville Canyon.

Brentwood is a quiet community with great entertainment spots and restaurants. The population is around 33,000 residents, whose median income is high for the country at $112, 927. There are two public schools and seven private schools within the Brentwood city limits.  There is also a great Parks and Recreation department who have been key in designing the community’s 57 parks. The city is known for their Farmer’s Market where you can find some of Los Angeles’ best local produce. During the summer, the farms open up, so you can pick your own cherries, strawberries, and apricots. Brentwood is a true golfers paradise with three beautiful courses (Deer Ridge Golf Club, Shadow Lakes Golf Club, and The Golf Club At Brentwood) all within a five-minute drive of one another.

The area’s architecture is recognized by its Spanish and Mediterranean style homes and condos. Homes north of Sunset sit in the hills, while those south of Sunset sit on flatter land.  Prices for these homes are usually between 1,000,000 and 3,000,000, but can go even higher depending on location and upgraded features.

Brentwood’s tree lined streets give residents the feeling of living in a small community, which is nice when you live in the sprawling metropolis that is Los Angeles.

The city is home to numerous celebrities including football player Tom Brady, rapper Dr. Dre, former Tonight Show Host Jay Leno, and former governor’s wife Maria Shriver.
