Here Comes The Funny

Laugh your head off when the Netflix Presents: Here Comes The Funny Tour roles into town on December 6th. The Microsoft Theater show features comedians Adam Sandler, David Spade, Nick Swardson, Norm Macdonald, Rob Schneider, and Tim Meadows. Tickets for this sure to be hilarious show begin at $59.50.


Santa Claus lovers will be coming out in full force on December 10th for SantaCon. The free convention encourages all attendees to dress up as jolly, old St. Nick, and meet up for a ride on the metro. The exact meeting location is undisclosed until December 9th, but the event is sure to be notable as there are over 1,000 RSVPs on the group’s Facebook page. That’s a whole lot of Santas!

Renegade Craft Fair

Still searching for the perfect gifts for the holidays? Then you’ll definitely want to check out the Renegade Craft Fair in Downtown LA on December 10th and 11th. The fair has tons of unique, local, handcrafted products that are sure to please your friends and family. The event will also feature food and drinks, crafting workshops, and more, and is free to the public.

Christmas Tree Lane

Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, the Christmas Tree Lane lighting ceremony is quite a sight to see. The event on December 10th will mark its 96th anniversary. Nearly 50,000 cars drive though the illuminated lane each year during the holidays. Food and drink vendors, crafts, and musical acts will kick off the free, kid-friendly festival at 2 pm, and the lighting ceremony will begin at 6 pm. Plus, you can drive through the lit up lane all throughout the rest of December.

Things to do in December: Ring in the new year…


Start 2017 off with your favorite DJs at Insomniac’s Countdown. The two-day music festival runs New Year’s Eve weekend with performances by Alesso, The Chainsmokers, Diplo, Steve Aoki, and many more. Art installations, dancers, and two stages will also be a part of the party. Tickets for Countdown at the NOS Event Center start at $89.

Grand Park NYE

Even if the holidays broke your bank, you can still have a great time at Grand Park’s free New Year’s Eve event. This is the fourth year of the Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A, and it’s a great place to bring the kids. The December 31st event starts at 8pm and goes until 1 am on January 1st and includes music, dancing, food, drinks, and even a countdown light show on the side of the iconic City Hall building.
