Cinco de Mayo at Petty Cash Taqueria

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo all day long at Petty Cash Taqueria. The party at the Beverly Blvd eatery starts at 11 am and goes until 1 am with a balloon artist, DJ, and tons of great drink specials. Reservations are required until 5 pm when walk-ins are then welcome.

Bird LA Day: Birds & Beers

Bird watching and beer drinking come together May 6th for Bird LA Day at The Ace Hotel. A National Park Ranger will be on hand at the rooftop event to educate attendees on different bird varieties and why they are so attracted to downtown. The event is for all ages, although beers are reserved for those 21 and up, and is free and open to the public.

Angel City Brewery celebrates it’s 5th anniversary May 6th and 7th with a Heritage Music and Arts Festival. There will be behind the scenes tours, led by brewmasters, to see how their beer is crafted, food trucks, local musical acts, live painting, and more. Entrance is free, and the event goes from 12pm-8pm each day.

Get ready to stuff your face at the Infatuation’s first ever food festival. The Infatuation is an app, website, and series of Instagram accounts geared towards helping users choose the perfect restaurant. Jon & Vinny’s, Katsuya, Sweetfin Poke, and Afters Ice Cream are just a few of the awesome food vendors that will be at the May 20th event. Tickets start at $40, and food and drinks are sold separately.

MAINopoly: A Taste of Main Street

Sample some of the best food and drinks Santa Monica has to offer and help a great cause on May 28th. Attendees will get a MAINopoly game board that gets stamped when they visit each of the 20 participating locations including Enterprise Fish Co., Manchego, and Pressed Juicery. Tickets start at $25, and a portion of the proceeds go to Summer Soulstice and Heal The Bay.

Punchlines for Paws

Laugh your head off and help dogs all at the same time at the May 20th comedy event Punchlines for Paws. The lineup includes Sarah Silverman, Nick Kroll, and more. All proceeds benefit Home Dog LA, and tickets start at $75.
