This April 4th Downtown Los Angeles event is perfect for all types of beer lovers. Everyone is sure to find something they like with over 200 beers, DJs, food trucks, and bands. Plus admission is a steal at only $40 a ticket for all the beer samplings you can handle.
If cocktails are more your thing, then check out April 18th’s Cocktail Classic. There will be rum, vodka, gin, tequila, and whiskey drinks to sip on while you dance to the sounds of Djs and Jazz, Mambo, and Mariachi music.
Get Your Music Fest On…
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival is back again. This years headliners include ACDC, Jack White, and Drake. No matter what type of music you’re into, they’re sure to be playing it on one of the stages at Coachella. Weekend one takes place April 10th-12th, and weekend two follows April 17th-19th. Tickets are completely sold out, but Craigslist usually has some for sale.
Country fans, we didn’t forget about you. Get out your cowboy boots for headliners Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, and Blake Shelton. Tickets for this April 24th-26th event are still available, but hurry up and get them because they won’t be available for long.
Try Something Different…
Part cabaret, part ariel circus, part burlesque and vaudeville show, the April 11th-12th Mental Head Circus is sure to entertain. This Terry Beeman created sexy circus is for adults only, and tickets range from $40- $300.
Come celebrate the California state flower at this April 18th-19th festival. Even if you know nothing about poppies, there’s lots to see and do, including activities for kids, a farmer’s market, and a fine art gallery. There’s free parking, and tickets are only $8 for adults.
Celebrate Los Angeles…
Baseball is back April 6th with the Dodgers taking on the Padres at this year’s Dodgers’ home opener. Get on your blue and white and root, root, root for our home team while you chow down on hotdogs and nachos.
Every year our city’s newspaper puts on this great book festival at USC. There’s music, food, performances, and book signings by some of the world’s most popular authors. Get off the computer and the smartphone April 18th-19th, and bring the whole family to rediscover their passion for reading.
