The 5th Annual Toys for Tots Holiday Fashion Show Was a Huge Success.

In our hearts we are all philanthropic, but at times it becomes difficult to give due to our busy schedules or not knowing where to channel our gifts. Five years ago I decided to join two very different parts of my life together in a way I knew could positively impact my community. I’ve been an event producer for the past 6 years, and I also used to be in fashion (more about that another time). Hence, the Toys For Tots Annual Holiday Fashion Show was born.

What Toys for Tots Does: Each year in October, November, and December Marines collect new unwrapped toys that are later distributed as holiday gifts to less fortunate children in the communities where the toys were donated.

Last month the 2014 toy drive supporting Toys for Tots campaign and the 5th Annual Holiday Fashion Show were held together in Hollywood with hundreds of guests in attendance.  I want to take this opportunity to thank those who attended and generously donated toys. Over 400 toys were collected during this event.

Toys for Tots helps underprivileged children not to feel left out during the holidays, and also provides a way for the privileged to give back to society. The event also gives big names and brands in the fashion industry an opportunity to showcase their wares. WantMyLook online boutique proprietor and former star of the hit show Shahs of Sunset Lilly Ghallichi joins the ranks of other celebrities including Jared Leto, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Kim Kardashian and many more who have attended this wonderful event.

I’ve been putting this event on for 5 years, and every year gets better and better. I look forward to next year’s show where I guarantee there will be an even larger turnout and donation.
